We have prayed for many needs.
Our ministry is one of service and prayer.
The Prayer-Line Ministry
What is it?
The Prayer-Line Ministry consists of a group of people
who pray for specific needs upon request. The request
may be generated from a parishioner or another
person, or through a Prayer-Line member.
Why?
Because we believe in the power of prayer, in our
Prayer-Line ministry there are several members who at
the same time will pray, interceding for the specific
need.
"For where two or three come together in my name,
there am I with them."
Matt 18:20
Because we are instruments of intercession, we grow
in holiness as we pray for others. As we ask the Lord
to have mercy on others, He has mercy on us, and we
grow spiritually.
"Have mercy on me, O Lord,
For I call to you all day long.
Bring joy to your servant,
For to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul
You are forgiving and good, O Lord
Abounding in love to all who call to you.
Hear my prayer, O LORD;
Listen to my cry for mercy."
Psalm 86:3-6
